HPV Genotyping in cervicovaginal samples

CGC has available a test for HPV genotyping in cervical cytological samples collected in liquid medium that allows:
- distinction between low and high risk infections
- single detection of HPV 6,11,45,16, 18
HPV Genotyping applications:
- Confirmation of HPV infection in abnormal cytologies
- Screening of HPV 6,11, 16 and 18 infections in young women candidates for vaccination
- Multiple infection detection and monitorization of its status
CGC maintains an archive of cervicovaginal tests samples, this way the clinician can request the HPV Genotyping in the same sample, after receiving the report.
