The applications for CGC Professor Doutor Amândio Tavares Award, that contemplates the incitement to innovation in the application of Medical Genetics tests in the Iberian Peninsula, are presently open. The second edition of the Award, created in 2006, comprises all the institutions or persons that contributed to the implementation of new tests of Medical Genetics in the Iberian Peninsula during 2007.
